Nature of opportunity: Contract basis

Objective: The International Institute of Information Technology has launched Project Indic Wiki with the aim of significantly increasing essays in Indian languages as part of which we are inviting applications from local candidates interested in Telugu Community Development Consultant in the TeWiki project.

Job Timings: 10 AM – 5 PM - Six Days in week Full-time.

Probationary period: Three months, we will pay a stipend during this period. Emoluments: Rs:10,000 PM as stipend and Rs:2000 for Travel, communication expenses for the first three months.

There is a review of the candidate's performance during the probation period, emolument shall be revised based on the job deliverables and further association like full-time with the project. This performance review will happen after the successful completion of three months from the date of joining.

Duration of Employment: One year, extended to another year based on performance.
Location: IndicWiki Project office, Nilgiri Building, IIIT-H Campus.

Job Profile

1. The main tasks are to identify volunteers to develop information in Telugu on the https://tewiki.iiit.ac.in/, to encourage them to write in Telugu, and to provide the necessary technical training.
2. Need to develop partnerships with a wide range of institutions like Schools, colleges and like minded people communities.
3. Conducting all kinds of community outreach activities to increase the number of quality articles in Telugu.
4. Obtaining permission to conduct wiki workshops in various organizations and schools, conducting training programs independently
