Wikibot addresses the challenge of increasing the number of Wikipedia articles in Indian languages using Technology. The major driving factor behind this is the contrasting difference between the number of Indic Wikipedia articles and the speakers of Indian languages. To bridge the gap, IndicWikiBot is planned as a research phenomenon, and a team of IIITH research students is working successfully on creating the Bot.
