Wikipedia is a phenomenal source of knowledge, especially for speakers of common languages such as English, German, and French where there are millions of articles available. For many smaller languages, like Indian languages however, Wikipedia doesn’t yet have anywhere near the same amount of content available.

International Institute of Information Technology, Hyderabad has started the Project IndicWiki under the steering ship of Prof. Vasudeva Varma to enhance the content in Indian Language Wikipedias starting with Telugu and Hindi language Wikipedia.
