Here’s what you can expect:
Wiki Women Hackathon offers a unique opportunity to empower women in tech and contribute to a more inclusive world. Wiki Women Hackathon for female tech students and developers with some experience programming and who would like to learn Wikimedia technologies. We celebrate International Women’s Day!
This exciting event welcomes students and developers of all experience levels, especially those interested in learning the ins and outs of Wikimedia technologies. Whether you’re a seasoned coder or just starting your programming journey, the Hackathon provides a supportive and collaborative environment to:
- Deepen your knowledge: Gain valuable hands-on experience with Wikimedia technologies used to power Wikipedia and other free knowledge platforms.
- Contribute to a global cause: Help bridge the gender gap in tech and make Wikipedia a more inclusive and representative source of information.
- Connect with a global community: Collaborate with other women who share your passion for technology and knowledge creation.
